These are the 8 team that I helped to redesign their team branding for the WPBA. We worked on creating a system using a Primary Mark, Secondary Mark, and Wordmark to use for all applications such a team banners, social media assets, jerseys, and merchandise.

Challenge

The challenge for this project was to make all of the marks unified in some way to they all felt like they are a part of the same league yet not make them too similar so they are strong enough to stand out independently. Also we aimed to perfect the balance of each mark to feel aggressive but also shy away from having them feel too masculine.

Result

The brand application focuses solely on the print design front of the jerseys as well as social media postings for each team. Making sure the branding is cohesive through all print and digital elements were crucial to keep each team impactful from the rest.
